Cameron vs the Camera!

Silly Cameron! Though he could take on his Mommy with her camera and win!! I am a patient camera clicker. Here is the set up. Cameron just had school pictures. Which everyone knows is extremely expensive prison head shots. And with a four year old!! Forget it they all just look like a deer caught in the headlights. So I was going to take his official pre-school picture! But when!?!
So it is an overcast day and Cameron pulls his wagon out of the carport. Poor kiddo wanted to take a stroll. But I know how rain works in S.Carolina it can come fast and in buckets. So I felt bad but he just sat there in his wagon waiting for me to get the hint. So I did what most Mother's do when they feel sorry for their child. I got my camera! Lighting was good and he wasn't moving. Perfect!!
See look this will go smooth. A good shot right out of the gates. Just one more good one to make Money happy!
Look a leaf. Don't worry if you want more of the leaf just ask cause I have oodles more on my card.

Or a weird green thing that makes peoples sinuses/allergies go crazy!!

I shared this picture because it shows he still has a baby face.

Maybe if I ignore her she will just go away and a neighbor will look outside and feel sorry for me and take me for a walk!

I guess no one is looking out their windows.

And my Mother is definitely not going away!

Seriously did you pay attention to the weird green thing!?!

Yeah Money will take this one too!! All done Cameron.

OK I lied but now I am done!

It never did rain this evening!! It has been raining ever since though! I had to sacrifice Cameron's happiness for two good pictures!! Ha Ha! I would do it again in a heartbeat ;)

Just when you thought she couldn't get any cooler!

I am sure one wonders if Miss Kara is ever proud of herself when she takes these kind of goofy pictures and there is really only one answer to that. YES!! Seriously I am really only out to entertain myself and if anyone else giggles then that is just icing on the cake!

For my blog loyalists we have discussed the fact that my main military squeeze does not enjoy cooking on the grill. So 15 years later after waiting and waiting for him to just immediately discover the joy of grillin' and chillin' I decided to try. I kept it simple. Marinated chicken breasts, fresh corn, and garlic bread. Veggie stuffed portabella's were roasting in the oven. And well I am not gonna lie to you but it appears I pretty much ROCK!!

At this point and time MR and Mrs lmn-O are standing behind me ;) Mrs lmn-O has known me to long but this is Mr lmn-O first intro to me. Might as well throw the poor guy into the deep end ;)

No wonder Jason hates this. It is so boring!!

I don't think I mind the grillin'!! As long as it's not hot outside!! And living in South Carolina that gives me about 2 weeks a year to grill!

And don't worry Mom I didn't embarrass you to much! ( I always wonder do you ever just blush and not know why!? I am out there doing something loud and annoying I am sure!) Mr and Mrs lmn-O had a great time and a great meal ;)

from Play-Doh to War Games!

All of this can be achieved in one pair of super dooper underwear!! Does this kid have ANY clothes!?!

Making a bus with his Play-Doh. I have carving tools to use with clay and that boy picked them right up and used them properly......and well.

Those 'feelers' on the front of his buses always crack me up! They are supposed to be the rear view mirrors but they seems to get bigger and bigger with each bus he makes!

His creations are having a nice little chit chat.

Now we are going on to taking over Jason's game when he stood up to get something.

Testing....testing...1...2.....

Well I will be dipped in butter but I think he is actually doing it right!!

Oh heavens I hope we don't have another gamer in the house!!

At this point Jason is quite amused because Cameron is actually on-line playing against some of Jason's co-workers. I won't name names cause I don't want to embarrass them ;)

Just a couple of snapshots I thought I would share. The girls were at the movies! I love having the base theatre so close. It let's the girls feel grown up too!
