Christmas Card Pictures

No one got Christmas cards this year! And I say that with great guilt. I have never done that before! I have the cards and I have the pictures. But having to cancel our trip home on such a last minute notice bummed me out more then I admitted. Well it dawned on me today that I haven't even shared the pictures online!! I should at least let everyone see what their mailboxes missed out on ;)

Does anyone remember this girl's HUGE eyes when she was little? They are still mesmerizing!

Check out this girl's gorgeous hair!!! And I literally had to be mean and tell her she had to take it out of the ponytail so I could take a picture. She never lets it down. I asked her one time why and she said 'Because when I let it down everyone thinks it's pretty and they will want it'. For the few people that get my Miss Josie B that was said in a serious tone and she just strolled away. She makes me giggle :) I may have to tranquilize her one day so I can just sit there and brush it. I am not allowed anywhere near it and it makes me sad.

Cameron was outside playing with the boys and I was sitting on the ground just clicking a few pictures. I love getting that one lucky shot!! I couldn't of posed this one any better!!

This of course is what I would normally get ;)

I have a huge stack of these pictures printed out to share. So please don't let me get away with keeping them all!! I aspire to having my children on refrigerators across America!!!

Hiram Ancil Floyd IV

The latest Squishy McSquishers in my life!!! It's been awhile but many moons ago in my first Bunco blog I introduced my friend Felisha. She had just acquired her 'glow'! Well now that tiny creature is here!!! And he is tiny and he is soft and he makes the funniest noises!!! We had a Baby Shower themed Bunco gathering this week and I don't have very many pictures because Baby Hiram needed me!!! He slept in my arms for well over an hour and I was in complete heaven! I lounged in Shay's recliner and just let him squeak and sigh in my arms. Look at him so content with Aunt Kara!!!!

Of course you can't hear him from whatever computer you are reading this from but he does make the funniest noises. And just when you were wondering where he learned them from in comes one of his big sisters. Miss Kelli!!! I cannot type a paragraph long enough that describes the sounds that comes from this little girl. She cracks me up. And she literally has the huskiest voice I have ever heard!! I told Felisha that Jason needs to borrow this little creature so he can have a stock full of sound effects.
Look at her perfect face!! I love looking at her. Her face is so open and expressive. Even when she seems solemn she looks so expressive to me.

Now here is the happy face we know and love!! She may look like her Daddy, which by the way yes she looks like her Daddy, but that is 100% Felisha's smile!!!!

Miss Kyra was playing with friends this evening so you are missing out on another beautiful face. Miss Felisha you make unbelievably beautiful babies!!
And even I have to give a shout out to Shay and Michaela who put together a beautiful Bunco Baby Shower for our pretty girl here.

Hell's Kitchen

Against our our will, we had to lay to rest our dear microwave. After some twenty-five years of dutiful service, we had to set it free. Unfortunately it was so old it died before getting any further than the curb. Under a setting sun, we gathered around the carcass to say our farewells to a dear, reliable, and might I say, spacious, friend. Cameron took it hard, for the microwave was provider of the scrumptous popcorn he craves daily.

On the cheerier side we have a new addition to the family! A cherry red microwave. Even though it has only half the internal space, DOES NOT have 198o's wood paneling, and buckles under the pharmacy of medicine, we have great expectations for its future.

I think it was Josie.

When I went to get the pictures of Mac off the camera this picture was in it. I have no idea who took it or even when because the game has cleaned up. But it makes me giggle that one of the girls took the time to set this all up just to take a quick picture. Back when I had to develop film I would pick packages of pictures up and find numerous posed shots of Josie's dolls. That is why I think she was the culprit.

This is a board game by the way called HeroScape. Jason and the girls get quite a set up going when they play. I love it!!

Mac Attack!!!

Introducing the newest member of our family! Mac!! Jason and I had briefly discussed bringing home a second dog for Zoe. It just seemed more in Zoe's nature to have a 'friend'. She would always get so excited and happy to see any other dogs. Hannah's friend Megan had brought her dog , Ace, over to 'play' with Zoe and she always got so hyper and running around him . Of course being the man that he was he completely ignored her ;) But taking on a dog is a big responsibility and we wanted to make sure it was something we really wanted. We had even been to the ASPCA to see how we felt.

Well it is a good thing we waited because the opportunity came to us to bring Mac into our home through my friend Danielle. I had already met Mac so I knew he was a sweetie. We arranged a 'play date' for the dog's and they got along swimmingly. So after he went home Jason and I talked about it and it was agreed. So now we are under a Mac Attack!!!!!

He has been here close to a week. For me I knew all was good when they were outside for over 3 hours. Why? Before Mac most of my day consisted of Zoe wanting in and out in and out. She would jump on our windows and backdoor wanting constant attention. And lots and lots of barking. Since Mac has been here they spend most of the day outside with no noise and Zoe has not jumped on our backdoor. She is happy out there cause she has the company she wanted. And today was the first day they slept side by side. And Mac is such a sweetie!!! For those of you who love Zoe you are going to be quite twitterpated with our Mac!!!

He loves him some tennis ball so I thought the perfect time to take his first pictures was when he was outside playing fetch!
