Happy Birthday to me!!!

I know it has been a couple of days since the world had a moment of silence to celebrate the fact that I am in it but I had a few more pictures to share!

Let's start off with my beautiful innocent son making his Mommy some lasagna for dinner. So sweet so innocent so peaceful............

And then there was these two!!! All I did was take one step to the side! This people is why it seems I only take pictures of Cameron ;)

I had a good birthday. I woke up that morning determined not to do a flippin' thing and I didn't!! Jason asked a couple of times if I wanted to go anywhere but I think by 1 o'clock when I still wouldn't get out of bed and I was in my PJ's he knew it was a lost cause ;) I love him for trying though!!! That evening my kiddos made me some lasagna! Contrary to what the pictures show the girls did help! lol and we decided to let Cameron help. The poor thing when we put him in front of the pan he covered his mouth and started saying 'no! no! no!' A pan of lasagna!?!?! Garfield he is not! Can you imagine the mess that could of happened? But once Jason showed him that he was spreading around sauce he was so happy. Robin and the boys came over to eat with us. Robin gave me a cool photo album and a Target gift certificate. The girl knows the way straight to my heart!!!!

This is Jason and I right before dinner. I wanted a updated shot of the two of us. Not that we aren't LONG overdue for a updated family shot. I will work on that next ;)

I am STUNNING!! ;)

I have discovered something about Magna Doodles that aren't quite working for me. It would be awesomely expensive if I keep saving these every time Cameron drew something cute!! I don't have anywhere near the wall space to hang them all up. And of course anytime I say 'awww' then *poof* it is all gone in a swoop of the arm!!! OK many reasons! But of course one good reason to have one. Cameron loves it!! And good lord knows how many trees these thing has saved!!

This, obviously enough, is a ice cream cone. Cameron and I have worked on drawing working with his shapes. Triangle with circles makes perfect ice cream. Of course after admiring his work I saw the face. For awhile I assumed Jason did it. What 3 year old draws a smirk? Isn't it hilarious? I say it looks like Josie.

For those of you who don't know I am going through my mid life crisis. I have decided to do it now so I don't look goofy ;) Besides the fact on my birthday Jason said 'you know your halfway done?'

yes I kicked him.

I am NOT halfway done!! But I did think that I am still young enough to get away with some things I have been wanting to do. I am not ready to fall into the middle age Momma look so I am rocking it out a bit with a new 'do.

That is just a bad picture of the back. I don't think it necessarily looks quite so skunky. Any who! I got what I wanted! This sweet creature I met through Jason did exactly what I asked for. I love it!! Now on to the piercings and tats!!

Yep more of Cameron eating! Cause seriously who would get tired of watching Cameron eat!?!? Now granted my neighbor Robin is probably sick of me calling every time he eats but you guys get to admire pictures!!

Sorry guys but these are just such exciting Mommy moments for me!!

This is Cameron's stool. He figured it out pretty darn fast that this thing helps him achieve greatness. It is not an uncommon sight to see him carrying it around. But our new thing with him in the kitchen nowadays is to let him help us in the kitchen. His therapist at the school mentioned it in passing to help with his 'relationship' with food. He LOVES to cook eggs. If you open the fridge with him anywhere near he will immediately start repeating the word 'eggs'. This is only because he enjoyed cooking them. Not necessarily eating them. He has had eggs before. I won't lie. As usual only if I fed him. But how can you go wrong with eggs? I love hash brown and over-medium eggs. I was in the mood for some for lunch. Of course I let Cameron help me. For you concerned folks out there Cameron is so good in the kitchen. Very patient and so far if he feels any kind of heat he stays away. All chefs will experience burns or even cuts. If he was to aggressive I wouldn't let him help. But he is good. So I let him help me cut up my eggs and hash browns and as I went along to get my drink he proceeded to chow down! You go for it Cameron!! Once again I was so excited I didn't dare move him. This kid is going to be so confused one day I am sure but for now I take what I can get and if he wants to eat in the middle of a bubble bath I would let him!!!
Little bugger ate most of my lunch!!!

Beaner's Baby!!! Thanks to me not paying attention I called my friend Wanda who is having a brunch NEXT weekend and asked her if I could bring a friend. Since I had already had it in my head we were getting together that Saturday morning she mentioned meeting at Beaner's. A coffee shop in Summerville. We threw the idea out there to our friends and we all met there at 9:30-ish!! Oh yeah you cannot forget the -ish part of the time ;) Look at us couldn't we be in a flippin' ad? Or the next episode of 'Friends'!! :)

Wanda so reminds me of the fun of taking pictures everywhere!! We have quite a few of us outside being downright silly but I love this one of Shay and I! Doesn't she look so serious and straight out of a modeling book? She is so gorgeous!!! There is one before this where she is dying laughing but I have a half closed eye look about myself. And if I don't look stunning then of course I am not going to share!! Shay you crack me up you beautiful thing!! And Wanda thank you so much for putting the effort into getting us together again. It is awesome! I am looking through my cookbooks to pick out what muffins to bring to your fabulous Brunch. Stay tuned for pictures of course!

Jason being hot, sweaty and in a usual state of manliness. I like to capture it on digital 'film' when he is actually exerting himself. He likes to have the proof anyway to remind me when I tell him he never does anything :)

OK so the fence is up. I told Jason do NOT let Zoe out til I was ready with the camera. The few times we let her loose in the neighbors yard she ran around like crazy!! I just knew she was going to be thrilled.
There was no real rush in getting the camera set up that is for sure. It took forever to coax Zoe outside. She thought for sure she was being set up. And of course her lead is still laying there on the ground!! :) You can't hear my friend Danielle but she is in the kitchen laughing. Zoe was having none of this. Why oh why would we deliberately set her up to fail!?!

And then she got outside!! I knew we were going to have one very very happy dog!!! I can't count the amount of out of focus pictures we took of this blur we call Zoe. She sniffed every aspect of this fence to make sure it was not a mirage :) And she loves it when Jason and girls go out and run with her. It has to be limited of course cause she has problems with her hips but to know that she doesn't have the restraint of a lead has to be refreshing!

OK this is a pretty huge update!! Some of you probably had ot stop for a snack. But I owed Troy ;) After my fabulous birthday card he deserved a huge blog!!!

I so loved this blog girl! It's so family, I'm definetly jealous of your birthday celebration! That and your ability to do nothing--I would freak! You are my idol. Your hair looks awesome, of course! In case I haven't told you, you ROCK! I bet Zoe absolutely loves the freedom! Hugs!

Happiest of Birthdays to you, sweetling. If you lived closer, we'd either go get buzzed on Starbucks coffee or come home and make margaritas!

I love the Cameron stories...the pic of him making your lasagna is just too cute for words! I love the stool pic of him eating your lunch too...man, those are funny!
Happy Birthday again, I know it must have been a nice day and your hair looks cool...you have inspired me to get out of my postpartum rut and do something with myself! Thanks.
Glad to see your blog...I check it almost daily and was getting pretty grossed out by the spider.
Have a great day!
